Today I was going to tell you that Kirsty gave us a huge BBQ that she did not need. I took a photo of it and everything. But then I thought that, as much of a Good Thing as a BBQ is, there are some other things we could talk about too.
I thought today’s Good Thing would be spending a few minutes watching this video and thinking about donating to UNICEF to save some lives.
If a lot of us act now, we can make a BIG difference.

I love that this is one of your good things!
Whenever I have spare dollars at the end of a pay cycle, Unicef is one of the three orgs I donate to.
I also love that you've featured something altruistic as a 'good thing'… not to hijack but perhaps you could also one day talk about misuse of the Red Cross emblem (which is protected under international humanitarian law). I've been noticing it more and more in the art/craft/design world recently (at great cost to the Red Cross who spend a fair portion of their limited time and funding contacting people to ask them to cease their misuse) and I know that if more people with blogging presence would talk about it, less people would misuse the emblem!
