Macarons are the flavour of the fancy cake day. But I like macaroons. Do you like them too? Or perhaps you are the chewy macaron kind? I bought these ones at Piedemonte’s. I thought they would be dry and denying, but I figured that they’d work with a cup of tea. They are not dry. They deny nothing. They are moist and delicious and I am never buying them again because I might eat them all!
I never buy cakes or biscuits. I bought these for Rin’s Craft Night, but we didn’t need them. Victoria brought some brownies and we ate those instead. I brought them home again and we have promptly eaten the whole packet, just about. Not just me. Other people too. I am not a Macaroon hog. I am not.

I have never tried macaroons but they are on my list of things to try.
yep i love the coconutty ones too ! my auntie mollie used to make
the BEST macaroons!!!! sigh i wish i had her receipe – my cousin binned
her receipe books!!!! and yes i did a dive into the recycle bin for
what i could find……but no coconut macaroons!!! sob
