:: A Year Of Good Things : 28/366 : (Yesterday!)

Sometimes I forget to trip about the internet and find new things.  I know that might be hard to believe, but I tend to hang in my fave places (and on Pinterest and Facebook), and not go too much further afield.  I am a creature of habit, especially when I’m busy. I like to visit my old faithfuls.

BUT.

Because I’ve been helping Rin to plan her wedding (it’s in LESS THAN TWO WEEKS! OMG!) I have been looking around the place for printables and platter ideas and things like that.  Today, as I looked about,  I stumbled upon Tokketok. I have been there before, but I forgot how GREAT it is.  I think you should go there and take a peek.

Do you stick to your faves or do you trip about the internet looking for newness?  Or do you do both?  Tell me how it is for you, if you have time! If not that’s okay too!

xx Pip

Sometimes I have to be careful because I get sucked into reading blog after fantastic blog and I never actually get anything done, but I have never seen this one before so off I go.

I am an etsy junkie. I feel that if I don't curb my addiction, I will be telling future employers that I lost my last job as I kept getting my etsy fix on the clock.

There are so many lovely blogs out there that I have a LOT on my list that I try to follow best I can. ๐Ÿ™‚

What a great blog…love their rosemary wreaths for Christmas cards…the challenge will be to remember the idea in 11 months time!

And re. tripping the internet…a bit of both. One of my most favourite things to do is to look at the websites I like and check out their links to their favourites…great way to find more favourites!

I have my faves but when I'm reading blogs I always go to their faves & have a peek. Its almost like a follow-the-trail kinda thing…Just yesterday I added about 4 new blogs to my feed from one of my favourite blogs, which then leads me to their facebook pages & then I look at all the things they "LIKE" & find even more places I like! It makes me really happy.

I let you trip about and then look at that. I have my 6 or so top blogs to look at and they take me off to new places. My fave blogs seem like friends now and it's like a little visit. I did not know aboutthe holga ilens until you found them and have one winging it's way to me and one for my sister so thats cool. Good luck with Rins preparations what an exciting time. You must tell her to stop and take stock of the day and take some mental photos as it flies by if you don't take time to soak a bit in.

I'm a total Net bore, I must confess. I have my bunch of faves that I check into each day (if time allows)….but occasionally I stumble onto something new, like the Knitting on Trains blog, which is very cool.

i really really love joke's work! so happy to find it shared here~

also! your book has been on my wishlist for quite sometime & was pretty excited to finally order & receive it! so much inspiration, i need to sit down & just enjoy the pictures before diving into some of the projects. ๐Ÿ™‚

I stick to my favorites, but only because my "surfing" can get out of control otherwise. If I don't clear out my Google Reader at least twice a week, I can end up with 300+ unread posts to go through! The internet is filled with loads of crap, but also way too many wonderful sites run by wonderful people, and I would need to quit my job in order to have enough time to visit them all!

totally agree, I'm always getting stuck on pinterest and Facebook and just lately wasting way too much time on instagram! I do take the occasional detour when somebody recommends something interesting… so tokketok you say… I see at detour coming ps this little bags look super cute

I LOVE printables. I always think it's so nice that people are so generous.

I tend to stick to faves as well, until one of my faves recommends some place new and off I go! ๐Ÿ™‚

    I love this place; http://eatdrinkchic.com/
