OK. It’s officially Winter here in Melbourne. I knew it on my walk this morning. My ears dropped off and I nearly tripped over them. It was that cold. I’ve managed to velcro them back on, but am definitely wearing a hat next time. And my hands, well, just my fingertips to be precise. Frozen. Petrified. Icicles. Not good. However, I persevered and as I walked I thought that it might be good to do a little list of Wintery recipes from the rather large Mike’s archives. So here we go. Perhaps you might like to make something Mikey?!

Wow. I believe you just supplied me with a wintry meal plan for three and a bit weeks. I owe you – big time!
Cheers to you for the walk and thanks for posting all those lovely comfort winter foods. I want to work my way down that list. Then I'll have to hit the road again to walk it all off!
oooh you have me salivating! Now where should I start????
Bravo on getting as far as June before you need a hat!! Here in Wellington, our household's hardly gone as far as the clothesline without a hat, for the last month. Go, (comparatively) Tropical Melbourne!!
