These are from the BIG Little Golden Book ‘Animal Fair’! Like Mary Blair – Martin Provensen worked for Disney and Alice for Walter Lantz Studios (the home of Woody Woodpecker). The Colour Kittens is probably the Golden Book you know them best for! Winners of two Caldecott medals for illustration – I love these guys! They are wonderful!
