I think everyone needs to watch this video and learn a bit more about empathy and how important the ‘fellow feeling’ is.
There is nothing worse than having your feelings glossed over, discounted, ignored or silver-lining-ed. Is there? I mean really. When people say sad/tricky stuff to you listen to them! They need an open heart and an open mind. You don’t have to think of a fix. Just try to imagine how they are feeling and let them know you care and that you will listen.
