:: Slippers Gone Wild…

June 8, 2011

Wow. Everyone wants to make slippers! This shows you how many people have popped over and grabbed the Pippy Slipper pattern in just one week! (I think if you click the image it will get larger!) How heartening that everyone wants to crochet themselves some cosy toes! More here.

xx Pip

    Your pattern is great and simple – I normally like to knit slippers with about 4 balls of wool to make them really bouncy. I'm an Australian living in Chile for a year with my family (husband and two young daughters) My craft didn't make the suitcase so I'm living vicariously for a while. Your site is lovely !

    Hi Pip
    I introduced my neighbour to your blog, and the slippers have motivated her to learn to crochet, so we're going to get a mutual friend to show us both (she showed me once already but I have a sieve brain..)

    I've already made a pair for a birthday present and I have a pretty pair of pink pippy slippers warming my feet right now! Super cute pattern Pip, thank you!

    I do so like the idea of the world being a nicer place because more people have warm toes and it makes them happy xxx
