Sindy had a brain, she took no crap and just happened to look beautiful but there was more to her than that. In Charlie’s Angels terms, Sindy was Kate Jackson to Farrah Fawcett’s Barbie. I hadn’t even heard of Barbie till I was a teen: can you still get them?

Oh this is the first time I have ever heard someone else feel the same about Sindy. I too had Sindy as a young girl, her beautiful French inspired white bedroom suite, dining room furniture and of course the plump white couch. I still have her shoes lol , not sure why but I do.

Yeah Sindy is so much better, and I gave my beloved Sindy to her, but she prefers Barbie – grrr!

Mine too! I had lots of Sindy dolls and only one Barbie. Can you still buy them? My litle girl is getting into Barbie and i’d rather she got into Sindy instead.

Oh Sindy was way cooler, being a hip British chick and all! And I loved her boyfriend Paul so much that I married my own Paul – who looked a bit like him when he was 20! I had a whole Sindy house kitted out in brown and orange at one time, wonder where it is now?
