well.. we are a bit slow here at Mikes.. but Molly has dragged us into the here and now with her gift of the book Animus… It is the BEST ever NEW book we have ever ever seen! We LOVE LOVE LOVE it! It reminds us a lot of one of our favourite Little Golden Books.. ‘I can Fly’… which Mary Blair illustrated! Don’t get us wrong.. we LOVE Animus.. because it puts a new spin on all the things we LOVE about Little Golden Books… and does it beautifully!
Eric over at Giant Robot.. and the kids at Robio.. and the Metropolis peeps.. of course have been hip to the groove of Seonna Hong for ever and a day.. but we have not.. and we adore the Mary Blair-esque black bobbed girl who is the hero of Animus!
Buy it! (from Robio!) And thankyou Molly.. Max says it’s the best book he ever saw.. as he wiped a tear from his eye..!

oh you guys. your my favourite book, out of all the books, the new AND the old. so i am just glad that seonna hong was ace-enough to even make a book that would match you and your whole entire life! it was a pleasure getting it for you and i am glad you all loved it too much. i love you all too much! okay okay. i am so sleepy but i need to curl up in my bed which is also like a woodland forest because THAT is how NICE it is! apple cake and tea-time love xo FROM MOLLY
