We’re chatting Teen Fiction over on JustB today! Come see! I also wrote a post about Hate Blogs (a la Marieke Hardy’s) : you can find that here. Or perhaps you might like to add to our list of Happy 2011 Moments?! See you here and see you there too!

I had all of these! Oh my lord I was obsessed. And nowadays sad that I threw them all out.
I have heaps of these – they were so lame – you knew it at the time – but also addictive! Still cant bear to throw mine out….
Sadly, I think I was around when the big hair and shoulder pads were SOOOO in.
I feel old just looking at the covers 'hehe'. I too would love to see Sweet valley high re-released.
Funny as! I, too, had forgotten these, but read every one of them back in the day. Oh, such an eighties moment! 🙂
EEEKKKK! I used to hide these inside my science book to read in class. Sadly I think I remember On Thin Ice being one of my favourites (I was a rollerskater at the time). Thanks for the memories. 🙂
I loved these kinds of books when I was a teen, and read them voraciously. I was always a bit sad though, because the girls seemed so perfect, and their lives so perfect, that my life seemed like a big, stinkin' mess in comparison.
Oh my yes! 'The Popularity Project' and 'The Popularity Project works again' etc etc. you bet your perm I read these.
Oh. My GOD!! I remember these so vividly, hours and hours and hours spent reading them… all of them had the same storyline, boy meet girls have a fight devastated get back together in the end.
Oh my 'Forbidden Love' I loved all of these and read so many.
Oh Pippi Pipster thank you so much, been trying to remember these books for a while now. Geeze I used to love them circa 1983ish I was 14 & used to devour them with a passion & swap them amongst friends recalling all the raunchy bits(v/tame really).
I remember staring at those exact covers imagining the life of that girl. Used to love P.S I Love You & one set in Palm Springs. So totes cool to see them again.
Thanks!
I totally remember those! Who needs twilight! and any time they want to re-release Sweet Valley High books, Im on it!
