Love these. My family is Polish and every year (even into my 30s!) my mum and I decorate a basket of eggs. Nothing this fancy though! I'm hoping to try some new techniques this year, possibly even using proper dye, as opposed to textas! Eastern European folk art is just beautiful! x

Making pysanky was a wonderful part of my childhood! Making regular old easter eggs just can't compare. I'm still not half as good as the steady handed 80+ crowd of ukrainian grannies though…

Lovely! I picked up a whole load of painted and pyrographed wooden eggs when I was on holiday in southern Poland a few Easters ago. So many beautiful designs, from floral to geometric. I love them!
