Well.. this looks like I’m cheating.. but these WERE on my desk, truly they were! It’s just that the light was so bad, i didn’t think the ACTUAL on my desk photo would do them justice. So today.. it’s ‘On My Bench’ for me. Would you just LOOK at these Softies for Mirabel contributions! They are gorgeous. They really enjoyed their trip to the park yesterday – as you can see from their expressions. And they enjoyed meeting each other in a nice, non-threatening environment. They got on very well. I’m always late with memes.. but you would think I could pull my finger out for Kirsty! Sheesh, Pip! Here I go with Kootoyoo’s ON MY DESK meme.
Here is a very messy photo, of my very messy desk. Notice that I have two calendars. Yet I still couldn’t do the meme on the right day! Oh well! My desk is in a dark little hidey hole under our stairs – so it’s kind of hard to take a good photo. I bet everyone else has neat desks. I just bet they do. I have a 50s lamp and an 80s light box on my desk.
The light box – which I’ll show you next week – is displaying the bare bones of a pattern which will be featured in the book I am putting together. It’s from THIS girl. I also have a lovely Belle and Boo print and some other 70s cutesie prints… and a lovely doll given to me by THIS girl. And my mum gave me the Brown Owl – to celebrate the first Brown Owls meeting.

Fantastic to see THE face for the dynamo PIP putting everything together, and sometimes behind the scenes- go you great girl… I just love the whole sewing, crafting happening-ness (as my daughter would say- adding ‘ness’ to the end of everything).. I love sewing. . . .
