:: NYE Boast Post: My 2013

I thought I’d recap the year, because in the push to get things done I sort of forgot what had happened! (Easy to do, I think!)

Here’s some of the best bits of the year. It was a good one! Full of Good Stuff!!! And it was really tiring, especially November. Remind me not to do 27 big projects in November this year, please? Zzzzzz.

THIS YEAR I….

 

Created a free magazine : The Good Stuff Guide

Made a blogging eCourse : Blog With Pip (the next intake starts classes in February 2014!)

Was proud when Ari finished Year 7 and Max finished Year 12 and Rin moved back to a fave place.

Had a 20 year anniversary.

Went booze-free for the whole year and worked out a lot (except in November when I was just working all the time!)

Ran a charity toy drive : Softies For Mirabel to benefit the amazing Mirabel Foundation with lots of help from CAE.

Was a Jamie Oliver Food Revolution Day blogger.

Finished writing a book : it’s out in October via Penguin Books

Got published again in France. Oui!

Started teaching at the CAE

Got a mammogram (you should too if you are 40+!) (It was fast and I am lump free. Phew.)

I got to speak at ProBlogger’s PBEvent and Big Hearted Business too… (with Hailey and Clare and other ace types!)

Started working with Laney and team!

Rented a studio for 2014!

Did some social media consulting work for other nice types!

 

Made this Chevron Ripple Blanket  complete with how-to for you!

Finished this blanket and give it to my Nanna for her birthday.

Made these Crocheted Baubles for Etsy

Started writing for RealEstate.com.au : here’s my first post about recycling stuff and cannily cute-ifying your home!

I also wrote lots of posts here and here.

Began a new blanket for my Nan using the Weekend In Stockholm pattern by Debbie Stoller

Wrote some life tips for Zali’s blog.

I made a heck of a lot of pompoms…!

Went camping a few times.

And to Venus Bay…

Launched A Year of Ethical Fashion for 2014.

Wrote a lot of lists (I am still catching up! I will get there! Sorry!)

Made quite a few cute projects for Frankie Magazine.

 

 

Met Maggie Mason! And did some great Melbourne things with her.

Ate a lot of jaffles…

Hung out with Kirst a LOT.

Visited my sister in Sydney and my Mum/Nan/Brother in Hobart.

Wrote for Mollie Makes a couple of times and was part of Mollie Makes Crochet, the book!

Was Editor of the Voices of 2013 blogger awards program.

Read not nearly enough.

Started Taking Stock.

 

Cooked lots of good things (I’m saving that Foodie Year In Review for another post!)

Crocheted a lot… scarves, hexagons, blankets and more.

 

Phew. No wonder I am tired. I think this was my biggest year yet. I’m hoping 2014 will be less big but equally great. I hope I get to have more down time, move house and see my friends a bit more.
