Ha, I had one of those and loved it, but was very jealous of my sister’s Baby Alive doll. Love that tree house…

Oh, i totally fit this profile, my big sister (now 35) had one, to make matters worse, our neighbours all had that tree house too, so i was tortured every where i went, as it was strickly exclusive, not for little sisters’ paws. Damn them!! Look at the response you have provoked, many an early 80’s non sharing bitch sister attack. Love Posie

Oh I wanted one of those, but we never got one. I can’t remember really wanting anything my sister had, but I must of cause we used to fight a lot 🙂 We did have very different interests though, she was into her babies I liked to play explorers and swiss family robinson.

We had one. We had to share it too. I loved how you pressed the button at the top to pop it up, and the elevator that you wound up and down. My sister had something called a “Matilda” doll that I desperately wanted. It came with a rocking chair that you wound up and sat the doll in and it rocked. She also had a dresser with a set of crockery. I remember we had an earth tremmer one night and hearing Matilda’s dresser shaking!

WOW, I had that treehouse! I remember being very attached to the little puppy that lived in the bush. As for my sisters goodies, I remember she received a Barbie Doll head thing, you know the kind where you can style their hair and put on makeup. I wanted it to be mine so desperately. One day when she was at school I gave it a haircut! Imagine Barbie trying to go skinhead but having to make-do with punk. Well that was the ‘look’ I achieved. My sister wasn’t impressed and neither was my mother. I still feel guilty to this day whenever I see one of those barbie heads.
