Last night some MORONs came and STOLE the sign out of our lightbox – it would have taken 2 people or one with a ladder. Previously some MORON had stolen an ‘M’ off the other side of the sign. So NOW we have NO signage that actually says MEET ME AT MIKES – and it’s going to cost us over $300 to replace the signs that the MORONS have stolen. What is with people? Seriously. I’m really cross. Grrrrrrr. Some people think they are the only ones called MIKE in the universe. Morons. You are very bad people.

aww guys! thanks so much for all your sympathy! We are on the way to fashioning a new sign.. so fret not.. but if you EVER come across our sign – be sure to smack whoever has it in the face for me!

Suggestion – anyone out there want to make a “softie for Mike’s”… concept being that we make a softie, donate it to Mike’s and they sell it for sign money. As we’re all softying for Mirabel already, not hard to make an extra one?

Bastards! I might be able to help out on the lettering front. I used to work in the sign industry (Hubby still does!) I’m sure I could rustle up a favour from some old contacts.

oh man some people just suck don’t they, I really really hate senseless petty crimes like that, I once had someone badge my car which cost me $200 to replace them, then months later someone bent my windscreen wipers is stupid shapes and I had to buy new ones which cost another $150. I’m angry with you pip, you should set up a donation box in the store to help cover a little of the cost! I’d contribute *nods*
