Hello

Merry Christmas Poppets!

December 24, 2011

Holy cow. It’s Christmas Eve!  I can’t quite believe it.  At our house, we try and have the full turkey disaster on Christmas Eve… and then something less traditional on the Big Day.  So turkey we did this afternoon… Y to the UM it was, too!  Now we are all primed for a lovely day tomorrow.

We’re having cold cuts and bagels and chocolate brioche for breakfast.  And lots of tea, too.  Then a lovely lunch and a quieter evening!

What are you doing? Whatever it is, I hope that you have the very best time and everyone treats you SUPER nicely!

Happy Christmas Eve!

xx Pip

Merry Christmas to you and your family too! We're having fun making our own traditions this year (our first ever gingerbread house! and even managing to get to the park for frisbee throwing between the rain and storms…). I hope your day is wonderful!

Love how you call it a turkey disaster! That resonates with me!

Sounds perfect! We are opening presents, with all the chaos that brings, then heading down to the Swan River for our last look at Perth, before heading to our new home in Melbourne…might just get to meet you one day!

    Happy Christmas

    Merry Christmas Pip!

I hosted Christmas Eve for Felix's dad, his parents and nan – lamb cutlets, prawns, ham, couscous and roast pumpkin salad.

Tomorrow my family comes here for lunch – slow cooked greek lamb, freekeh salad, lemon potatoes, feta, olives etc. Dessert may just be icecream sundaes. Simple and yummy. Croissants for breakfast amidst much unwrapping of presents by a very excited almost four year old.

Have a wonderful day with your family!

Happy Christmas Eve to you & your family Pip! We are having mushrooms, eggs & hash browns in the morning for brekky – making cute Rudolph cake pops to take to grandparents later in the day. Enjoy the day and a little break!
