That is ENOUGH of my showing off.  What are you doing? What have you done recently that you’d like to tell everyone about? Let’s have a show-off!!

Hi Pip! I read your story in the ebook. Your writing is so beautiful! I never went fishing as a child, but I so loved the early part of the story with all the retro references which were very familiar to me. What a flashback to the unbusy days of childhood!

I also read the Helen Garner story, which, as a teacher myself, really resonated with me. Not that I'm a tyrannical teacher, but I always try to have a positive effect on children that they will remember in their adult lives.
Thanks for the link – I'll be reading more of these! Oh, and all the magazines and lampshades! Great finds! xx

I'm a little in awe. Congrats. I've been busy juggling toddler crafternoon, cooking a great curry soup I'd love to share with you all it's pure winter pleasure. Only took 15 mins. I've been sewing pockets on my Charlie sling bags for the launch of my online etsy shop and blogging.
I'll blog the recipe tonight when my Miss Two goes to sleep feel free to share it.
Off to try out a cornflake cookie recipe.
