Lazy?? Sundays?? Mine starts at 5.45am when Moo wakes up, then it’s watering (stupid water crisis) until 7am, trip from Reservoir to Brighton to take Moo to the beach, back home for a shower for me and Moo, laundry sorting and washing, grocery shopping, dishes, cook something spectacular for dinner and then – finally – feet up for So You Think You Can Dance…
mmmmmm, favourite thing on a Sunday is breakfast with my Husband at our favourite cafe, YUMMY*
Sundays are for cups of tea, games of Monopoly with 6 year old son (who beats me!), dressing barbie with the girls and if I can squeeze in some papercutting then I am truly happy.
my lazy sunday’s are spent sleeping in and do crafty things in my pj’s until I figure I should actually get dressed…at about 4pm…ow and we love making home-made juice & pancakes for brekkie and sometimes we make icecream
Drink tea & read the papers… take the kids to the park & enjoy some sunshine… a long lazy lunch… and once the kids are in bed, sit on the couch with my husband & watch TV/sew…
PS pip I forgot to write ‘what i heart’ etc on my heart for mirabel- sorry!
I love to visit our local puce and dig around for cool french treasures…
I love to catch up on my favorite blogs, although there are too many and its quite addicting!
I also love to curl up with my favorite magazines without interuption. So nice!

On Sunday, I just like to be lazy. Hang around in my jammies for a while, read the paper, try the crossword puzzle and then hole myself up in my sewing room and shut the doors!
I love to sew on Sundays. DH is home and he can watch the kids while I sew away!
The ultimate lazy would include….
a sleep in,
a newspaper read in morning sunshine,
hot coffee,
poached eggs with spinach and hollandaise,
a stroll around the markets and then an afternoon cup of tea reading Marie Claire Idees!
Of course for this to all happen I would need to win the magazine first 🙂
walking up to the hot air ballons and sparrows as they both call me to wake up…followed by breakfast with really good friends really early…so early in fact that the croissants are still warm from just being pulled out of the oven.
delight!!
Oooo, I have heaps of lazy Sunday favourites – pottering around the house, a bit of gardening, sewing, reading, eating, relaxing, taking a walk to the park with my lovely husband and westie, just chilling out and dragging the day out for as long as possible (to delay Monday!!). 😀
Ideeeely its raining outside and windy. Inside the fire is crackling hot. There are no children, I am ensconsed on the couch with a little quilting to do and a good DVD or a box set of good DVDs.
This fantasy couch day starts soon after a nice breakfast of coffee and croissants lasts all morning, all afternoon and into the night only stopping for delicious food and maybe a nice bath, until exhaustedly I fall into bed (with clean sheets) and fall instantly to sleep.
Perchance to dream.
today’s sunday morning (& a favourite) was indulging in a nice cup of tea (that i can actually finish without interuptions from a little 5 month old) and a freshly made piece of choc-chip banana bread, whilst reading the magazine from the newspaper.. arh bliss..
My favourite thing to do would be go to a cafe for breakfast and a great coffee. Preferably sans children- so I actually get a chance to read the paper. Bliss!

A lazy Sunday? If I actually had one, the answer is easy – I’d like to sew or crochet. And maybe actually read the Sunday paper. Predictable, really!
OOoooooooohhhh. for a lazy Sunday!
I always work on Sundays, which is one of the busiest days at the pub I work at…. so a lazy Sunday would be a treat indeed!
Though I always make time for eggs for breakfast with the Man, as well as some wallowing in the Sunday papers before I go to work……
Where the heck do you get Idees from? I’d love to get my hands on a copy, but I can’t seem to find it in Old Adelaide Town….. boo!

I’m working today, getting ready for a meeting tomorrow that will result in closing one of our businesses and putting 17 people out of work, so can I say that I’d rather be doing anything but this? It’s heartbreaking.
My fave thing, though, is to sleep in, mosey downstairs to where my love has made me coffee and breakfast, then spend the rest of the day spinning or knitting in the sun while my love tinkers with motorcycles or works on the lathe.
My heart (s? if I can find time to make another) is going in the mail TOMORROW! Yay! I hope someone buys it.
My favorite thins to do on a Sunday is:
1) have a late breakfast
2) do the Sunday crossword puzzle with my SO
3) spend the rest of the day playing with my dogs and just taking it easy
My favorite way to spend Sunday afternoon is
1. To have no childrens birthday’s to attend.
2. Potter around the house contemplating what needs doing (and not doing any of it!)
3. Catching up on my favorite blogs
4. If its raining – a spot of craft.
5. If ists sunny either gardening with hubby & kids or hanging out at the beach.
My favourite thing to do this sunday morning is prepare for my daughters 1st birthday party! Preparing salads, marinating bbq bits, baking bread, decorating cake and putting together our fun crafty activity for all the grown ups: making peek-a-boo masks out of paper plates cause that’s her favourite game!
I still can’t believe she’s one!
Sunday is for taking it easy. Some days we like to get out other days we hang out at home. Together. That mag looks good….
My favourite Sunday morning –
1. Sleep in
2. Leisurely brunch at a cafe reading the papers
3. Come home to sew
Mind you the kids don’t let me do any of these LOL
Sunday mornings usually slip right by before I’m fully conscious, so my fave lazy Sunday thing is “Sunday Crafternoon” where I’ll hide in my work room, play on the interwebs, sew something, and download some new iTunes. Is what I’m doing at the moment!
today – its making a couple of hearts for Mirabel still in PJs, then a few laps in the local pool (minus PJs,) then more sewing while the husband goes to the cricket (yawn!)
The day I get my hands on my first copy of Idees will be a happy day indeed, hee!
My favourite thing to do on a lazy Sunday is get up early (what!? But it’s so I can enjoy the lazyness while actually being awake :P), drink numerous cups of tea, do a little hand sewing and lots of reading. And preferably it should be rainy and stormy outside so nice and cozy inside.
My favourite thing to do on a Sunday morning is:
1. Sleep in
2. Have bacon on toast for brunch while watching the Martha Stewart Show.
