Continuing along on my theme of ‘Then was Best’.. here is my ode to Laverne and Shirley.. another favourite.. enjoyed prior to ‘Happy Days’ – with a tv-dinner and a cup of tea… Oh.. how I loved Laverne and Shirley.. although Shirley was my favourite.. but Laverne made me laugh the most… go figure….
I loved their apartment. I loved their lovely monogrammed clothing. I loved that they bowled. I loved Lenny and Squiggy.. and I loved it when they appeared on ‘Happy Days’. I loved it that they worked in a brewery. I loved it that they were independent and FUNNY. I loved it that Mork went out with Laverne… I just loved that show!
Hurrah for Laverne and Shirley!

well I would love it- but my eyes have never had the privilege of watching L & S… oh well. I’m already caught up in four series at the moment!!! On the blog front- I am in hibernation. unfortunately…

Maybe we should hire a venue once a month – SUN Theatre perhaps – and watch some of these fabulous shows with lots of chocolate, popcorn and wine.
