OK – not a word i use often.. but what could be better…? Languid, with a daisy in it. Florally languid. Something I wish I was… I’m more florally manic.

A pet. I think we should all call each other ‘lamb’. In a sweet and caring way.
Library
My whole house is full of books. I have thousands and it’s my weakness. I can’t stop collecting them. They have spilled out of the bookcases – of which there are seven.. and are stacked in various piles about the house. And don’t even mention magazines. I have hundreds piled up in my stairwell.. mostly decorating magazines, as they are full of great ideas that I can use in the store. My favourites at the moment are Blueprint, Domino, UK Elle Decoration, Frankie & Living Etc. And I just saw a great mag this morning that i WANT. It’s an arty/wordy mini mag called KAREN. It’s expensive, but thought provoking and funny. I’m saving up for that one.

It’s not pretty or floral… but I like it. Don’t drink it too often.. it makes you fat.

I like lots of things.. I’m the queen of like. It seems to me it’s cool to be cynical, and un-liking these days. But let’s happily buck the trend and try and like more and resist less. After all, what’s not to like?

you can never have too many books, my lamb. there will always be more bookshelves… i do have a trick for decreasing the volume of magazine stacks that works well for me…let me know if you want to try it. lovely post!
I am really enjoying your encyclopedia. Kind of a free-flowing, James Joyce approach. I think, being on the letter “L”, you are further along than anyone else doing this meme.
