I.. am completely and utterly a Sesame Street Geek. I adore it. It was the backdrop to my growing-up-in-the-seventies life – and I really lament the passing of Old School Sesame Street. I totally remember crooning soulfully along with Grace Slick when these shorts came on.
The Jazz Series of animations are probably some that you remember if you grew up around the same time as I did. Not your usual sunny, sweet Sesame Street, these are fast paced kind of thrashy, numerical triumph!
(If you are WAY to young to have seen these the first time around, then you should look ’em up on YouTube – the illustrations are fantastic-o and the music is awesome too!)
