…you could try one of these cute woolly things from Kate Sylvester. I like the Fleur De Lis cardigan quite a lot. It’s totally the weather for cosy things, in fact I am wearing a woolly vest right now. I bought it in Ballarat on the weekend. It’s sort of cable and sort of woolly ombre and basically super good.
I’ve been trying to do my work and write my book. It’s going okay but I have a pangy knot in my stomach as my deadline is looming. It’s quite exciting and a bit nerve wracking. When you write a book, people get to love it… and they also get to hate it. Sometimes it can be hard to avoid the hatey bits online. Esp when people LINK BACK TO YOU when they write how much they didn’t like your book, LOL! Still. I can handle it!
I am really loving the way it’s all coming together. I’m looking forward to the feedback my publisher, Kirsten, will give me. I like THAT kind of backchat a LOT!
I’ve been making things for the book and sorting recipes. I’ve been doing lots of walks and listening to this (our exercise group are all trying to read it!) I’ve been thinking about going to see Tavi Gevinson tomorrow too! How good is that?!
What are you up to? Are you making something or working on something? Are you going somewhere good too?
x Pip
