Angela’s meme continues this week… go check on her blog, this week’s theme is ‘This is what scares me’.
I personally am afraid of falling, spiders, falling spiders & the scratchy surface of sandpaper (especially if a spider has fallen on it). I am also afraid of people reading my fresh, new magazines before I do. I am afraid of rats that get stuck in the plughole and scream ratty screams, like when we went to Bali years ago. I am afraid of yelling, being yelled at and people who think it’s ok to yell at other people. I am afraid of bad cooking, bad intentions and bad plastic surgery. I am most very extremely afraid of pretention, dishonesty and steel wool. And I am afraid of… bad craft. Like this (previously featured) crocheted monkey-face string holder. Shudder.
I am also afraid that there are people out there who feel they don’t have anyone watching out for them. I’m afraid some people go to sleep feeling that no one cares. Elderly people, people with health issues and even children who feel a bit at sea. I think we should all try to do something every single day to help someone who might need it. Because we are all in need at sometime. No matter what walk of life we come from.

That monkey even made my husband shudder..and he loves monkeys. you do have quite the list of things to be afraid of..

This is too much, I thought I was totally scared of lots of things anyway, but now reading everyone’s posts I am discovering even more fears I didn’t know I had, like shop dummies and string-faced monkeys. Stop it, everyone!

Ok, I now have a new nightmare. That monkey is the scariest thing I have ever seen…..I can just imagine being chased by that disembodied head, with it’s stringy tongue….eeeewww…get out of my head!!!!!
