:: Here Are My New Books!

Please excuse the iPhone photos! They just came through from Hardie Grant via Twitter!  They have advance copies of my books floating around their building! And they took these photos so we could sneak a peek!  It’s really very exciting when these things finally come together. I can not quite believe it.   You sort of forget that the book you spend so long making will actually be released.  It’s just such a nice thing to make a book… the publication is a bit of a BONUS!  I need a cup of tea now.  I’m a bit shaky-thrilled!  I can’t wait to hold these in my very own hands. I can not wait!

    Lovely! I've been meaning to tell you I saw Sew La Tea Do on sale at Tate Liverpool. We went there to see the Magritte exhibition which was great (although no painting of the bowler hat man with the apple face)but I was almost as excited to see your book! I had to resist buying it for now as,so far,I've made 3/4 of a granny square from Meet Me at Mikes, I think I'll have to complete a few projects from that before I can justify buying your next book.

    eeeeep! They look beautiful. Hugest congratulations. How very exciting indeed. I've never written a book but I imagine it must be a little bit like a pregnancy. At the time it feels so exciting and you focus all your energy on the planning and imagining and making and wondering. Then one day a baby is born and you adore it and are so proud of it and cannot believe you are responsible for creating it. You have almost made 4 books!! That is pretty awesome indeed. I wonder if they'll be for sale in woop woop land. x
