I absolutely LOVE vintage sewing machines – I have a flowery Singer Genie via eBay and a Pinnock Trendsetter Jewel which Cam rescued from a skip. I’m so excited that I’ve found Zigzaggers which is a blog set up solely to review vintage sewing machines!
The reviews are written by crafters who actually own the machine they are reviewing, and they detail the strong (and weak) points of each machine, it’s history, projects it’s been used for… that kind of thing. Really personal, useful stuff! Each review has a photo, plus a link to the lovely crafty reviewer (and there are some GREAT reviewers, like Melbourne’s own Emily Kate and Erin from A Dress A Day.)
