Hello

Endings and Beginnings.

January 31, 2008

Two special people had a special baby on Monday.
We handed back the keys for Mikes 1 on Wednesday.
Someone ace is starting Uni very soon.
My special girl Rin moved out on Wednesday night.
Someone ace is working extra hard on a new venture.
On Thursday we are flying solo with only Mikes Fitzroy.

I love change. Not the jingly kind.. but the shake it up kind. It sets my heart racing, and makes me wonder what might happen next. But I always know that I can deal with whatever hand I might have. And I reckon we all can, no matter what. Whatever you might be facing, you can get through it. If it doesn’t turn out the way you expect, it doesn’t matter. Just ‘have a crack’ and that is all that matters.

xx mikes

Inspirational post for me. I am in the process of ‘having a crack’ at the moment. I hope it all turns golden for you.

Love this post Pip. Change can be wonderful! Exciting, scarey…but wonderful. I hope I can use this advice this year !!

Well I must say that your timing in the last paragraph is perfect – yesterday I quit the job I don’t like in order to study, without another job to go to, and even though I have a partner to support me if I don’t get a part time job straight away, it’s still scary. But very very exciting and good! So I’m loving those words – as Dr Suess would say, “If you never did, you should. These things are fun, and fun is good.”
