Yesterday we discussed the ‘official’ best times to post on social media. Today I thought we’d finish the week with a bit of a pledge to find out what ‘unofficial’ times work for you, and why. Sometimes there’s so much information whirling about in our heads that we can’t drill down to the detail. What Worked Why And When aims to rectify that whirling and help you hone in on what you’re doing right (so you can do more of that!)
Use this worksheet to note down the successes on your social platforms – what worked when and why?
Note down the following:
Time of post
What the post was about
Any insights you have into what made the post work? – Was it the topic, the way it made people feel, the way you delivered it, the time of the day? What guaranteed that post’s success? Or was it a combination of a few things.
If things are pretty sluggish on your social media platforms and you’re not feeling that much is working at all, don’t despair. We’re going to kick into lessons on crafting content during the next week. Hang in there!
Try using this worksheet daily, for a week or so. You’ll start to get a proper feel for your audience and you’ll be able to adjust/repeat your content/successes as a result.
