Our friend Chris had a shop called Corky Saint Clair in the Campbell Arcade. Yep, it’s under Flinders Street in the Subway where Sticky is! Unfortunately whilst Roadwork was being undertaken by John Holland Engineering on behalf of Yarra Trams – they destroyed Chris’s shop, as well as two others. They caved the entire roof in – destroying most of Chris’s fittings and stock. The three damaged shops are now all locked with no hope of trading.
Whilst the parties involved try and work out who will pay for the damage, Chris has set up a MINI-CORKY at Mikes Fitzroy.
He has been unable to trade for some weeks now – which is super tough on a small business – why dontcha come and support Corky Saint Clair (and Mikes too… it’s awful quiet here at the Mo guys!) and keep his little business ticking until the City of Melbourne fixes his shop?!
