C is for Catch Up!

I’m running late already with this! I am doing C & D today!

My partner in crime.. and crimes there have been many!

I can live without it.. but I choose not to! I have at least one cup a day.. usually two and three if i am feeling reckless.. I like a big cafe latte with 2 sugars! But I like chai too!

I love to make them.. and I always use Nigella Lawsons recipe. I prefer mine vanilla.. with butter cream frosting and hundreds and thousands… but I love the ones from Little Bertha too.

My weakness is for 60s and 70s folksy and florally and colourful-ness!

I get ’em by the armload from Ari Steel.

I’ve marked many many years of KRAFT CHEDDAR SLICES with salt and pepper on WHITE BREAD.. punctuated by gossip and cups of tea.

I have to collect things.. i’m a freaking MAGPIE! Here is what I collect… stocking dolls from the 70s, Pre 1980s Little Golden Books, squirrel figurines, childrens sewing machines, owls, vintage fabric, vintage sewing baskets, children’s night lights, vintage dresses, vintage shoes, 1950 – 1980 childrens books, swap cards, turi design ceramics, folksy ceramics, kitchen cannisters, kitsch art… the list actually does go on… I collect collections.

I am lucky to have such nice customers who don’t mind me showing off all the time.

Hate it… I like to make sure that everyone feels like a winner.
