Oh my gosh! Brown Owls Memberships for 2009 are on sale from TODAY! If you were a member of our chatty, cute crafty club this year – you’ll know how much fun we had – and next year we have plans for Brown Owls meets on alternating Monday and Tuesday nights! Brown Owls is super good for beginning crafters – and really great for experienced crafters too! Beginners can learn some new stuff and get advice on crafty endeavours they might be keen to try. Experienced crafters can chat to other crafty people and provide us all with inspiration and very excellent conversation!
Next year, Brown Owls meetings will run every 3 weeks. And the venue will change for each meeting so that you stand a chance of having one a bit closer to YOUR place! You pay a small membership fee – which entitles you to as many meetings as you would like to attend. You can also buy just ONE meeting if you are a commitment-phobe!
For those of you that don’t like to come prepared – we’ll have a ‘CRAFT KIT OF THE NIGHT’ for sale at each meeting – so you can just turn up and we’ll have something fun for you to do – at a small price! For those of you that DO like to come prepared – you can bring whatever project you are working on – so we can all see what you are up to – and swap skills and tips!
If you’re interstate or international – you can still join – and perhaps have your own Brown Owls meetings in YOUR area! How good?!
