Okay, okay Ms BQ … I admit it, I was floored by the frantic, funky, low-down Soul Train. That is some mean business mixing Afro hair do action with body shirts and hot-diggidy show-off moves. Damn!
So I’m gonna pull out one of my big guns. After a longtime shared BFF obsession with this minute-and-a-bit of amazing aerobic flapping from 1971 (ummm … is that a purple crocheted mini-dress?) – I think that this full length offering from Tina Tuner and The Ikettes is really worth an airing.
