Mikes got a new window today! It is black and white and red all over! We hand printed todays Chinese-language newspaper with lovely red birds using our Gocco printer… and also we bird-printed lots of airmail envelopes too.. which we polka-dot pegged onto black satin ribbon strung across the window!
We put lots of other red things in too.. like our refurbished 70s scooter.. and our favourite senorita big-head 70s stocking doll… and Cam covered our lamp with red crepe paper.. which is itself a fabulous 70s relic!
We made little paper planes and strung them about too.. and I think we might add some other nice things in the coming days.. to finish it all off! It looks lovely and you should come see it sometime! The next window is the patchwork Mikes people-when-they-were-little window!

Love your window… it’s funny how ideas seem to be in the cosmos and are just waiting to be plucked out, sometimes at the same. My shop too has paper planes strung around the place… mine are covered in text…poetry for Valentines Day.
I’ve already had a peek, and oh! everyone should really see this window in person! I will be sending a letter your way in a little bit. But for now my mum (the other Pip) and I are lighting the Very First Autumn Fire. In our fireplace. I liked the visit, did you?
