LOOK HOW MESSY!!!
Well, it was total Badge-o-rama at Brown Owls last night! AnnaLaura showed us how to make her puffy felt badges… I’d tricked up a really cute little appliqued brooch kit for each member… and Gemma was Badge Queen deluxe on the machines we hired from Stay Human… Brooke was the barrel girl… Kirst provided a lovely smorgasbord of baked treats… and in general it was a super dooper great night!
Firstly, I’ve never seen such MESSY Brown Owls tables in my life! There was felt and fabric and teacups and paper and Minties and textas and things all over the place. I think it’s my messy, cluttery bad influence – but it was definitely a good kind of mess. Not like chewing gum under tabletops or biscuits down the back of the couch. No. It was not like that at all. It was nice, crafty mess. The best kind.

We had another new segment at Brown Owls following on from last time’s ‘Is There Anything We Should Know About’ segment. This time it was ‘Appreciating Art With Gemma‘ – where Gem told us about a few great exhibitions we might like to see this week! So that was very nice and informative! And Anna told us about Bridget Farmer’s exhibition too!
