A little while back we had a little competition – where you had to submit a story about the cousiny fun you got up to when you were little. All the stories were so cute and sigh-worthy… so the winner was drawn from a flowerpot. It was Angelique… We decided to do a little profile on our lovely winner!

3 blogs I must read apart from Mikes – Angry Chicken, Tongue in Cheek – A women living in france who spends her time going to flea markets. She finds some fantastic stuff and thirdly Aunty Cookie.

Signature dish : There are many but at the moment meringues with whipped cream and passionfruit

Closest most influential person: probably my hubby because he is just always there

Favourite famous person : The Blythe doll- she’s been and gone and on her way up again. I do love them.

Song to Dance To : Sunday Girl by Blondie ( I have just rediscovered Blondie through my 6yr old twins!)

Happiness : Seeing my kids laugh, Lindt chocolate and winning things as it very rarely happens….

This is what Angelique wrote about her and her cousin….
“My favourite cousin summer holiday story was when Natasha and I got our first and only pair of “Redstone roller skates”. It was the year Xanadu was at the movies. My cousins family and my family spent our summers together at Portarlington so we spent all day at the beach and then all evening roller skating singing the songs from the movie and wishing we were Olivia Newton-John. At that stage probably thinking we would have liked Andy Gibb as our boyfriend as well!”
