oooh I haven’t seen this one before! I have always loved tiny mice in tiny clothes. so cute…
Love those mice on bikes, but the cats are scary!
oooh I love the blue cats!
Wow! What a flashback. Anatole and the Cat was my fav book when I was a little tacker.
Yes, I love these books with the three-tone coloring. Usually red teal and gray. REALLY wonderful story too. Look at all those cute little mousies sleeping in a row. I am losing so much time this week reading all these Book Blogs. But it is really terrific fun.
It’s obviously just me, but I find these pictures a little spooky :O
Beautiful and expressive…but yeah…somehow spooky!!
I love the colours too.
hi nibbles, don’t be dreaming about mike coming to eat you…I do love your jackets hanging so neatly to the end of your bed!

i remember this!! gorgeous expressions…i love these – thanks for sharing!
I grew up with the Anatole series… I love them. They are so charming and clever. I’m off to find them on my book shelf now for a reread.
It’s fun to peek into Anatole’s life…He has the most charming family & home in Paris. I have a book which tells the story of how he becomes a cheese critic. Magnifique!
i discovered anatole at the library when my son was little. we wore out the library books, we borrowed them so many times. i was thrilled when they were reissued a few years ago and now have my own copies. we love anatole so much 🙂 a great pick!
j’adore Anatole! Thank you for the smile that is now on my face! Gorgeous.
