I did lots of crochet!
I turned 40!
I got to be part of Softies for Mirabel again!
I got to talk to Stubbsy on the radio a couple of times (once in the studio!)
I started blogging over at Make and Meaning.
I sewed and printed and gardened a lot.
I went to ‘Ladies Night’ with all those cute girls!
We helped with the Bushfire Relief effort.
We restored and sold lots of vintage bikes!
I got to write for Frankie, Notebook, The Age and Cleo too!
This fella finished his first year of High School.
This dude started kicking HUGE goals at school.
I ran about 27 Brown Owls meetings in Melbourne. Thank you to the Owls everywhere!
I did not get to spend enough time with my family and friends.
I did some embroidery that turned out cute!
I did make heaps of delicious meals with Cam, though.
I discovered heaps of new favourite blogs :: Sweet Fine Day, Dos Family, Ungtblod, It Will Stop Raining and The Golden Smith amongst them.
The Age put me on their list of the 100 Most Influential Melbourne People. (Go figure!)

I became obsessed with wooden soled shoes
I started writing my second book. And I found out that our FIRST book is about to be published in France! And it came out in the UK and parts of Europe too!
I met Erika Knight!!! What a doll she is! And super smart and crafty.

I also spent WAY too much time on Farmville and Twitter.
I got to be part of Quilting For Peace!
We did my favourite ever Mike’s window!
I had fun times with my grown-up girl!
I hung with some lovely people who are friends-for-life kinda peeps.
I did not lose weight, but I got a bit fitter.
I read LOTS of books and made time to watch DVDs too. That is unheard of for me, these last few years! Good work me.
Golly WHAT A YEAR! So glad it’s over… but so many great things happened. What a bloody shame about the crap things. Guess that’s how it rolls sometimes, right?
