Gee whizz. Look. How good are these hankies? Too good for my runny nose at the moment, i can tell you. Tammis Keefe designed these delightful too-good-for-sniffles hankies in the 1940s and 50s. Her designs are full of colour, movement and cheeriness. I love them. She learnt her craft at the Chouinard Art Institute in LA (which was later run by Walt Disney and his brother) and then went on to work under super-prolific textile artist Dorothy Wright Liebes.
