I have a lot of favourite artists and illustrators. A lot. Of course my true love is vintage art and design, but today’s contemporary artists are the vintage stars of tomorrow, right?!
I really like contemporary stuff that references vintage style. I like art that touches pretty heavily on crafty influences. I really like art that is sweet and sketchy and all about how fragile we humans can be. I like art that is painstaking and skilled and careful. But that’s just me.
