Frankie turned 10 this issue! Wow! Time really does fly!
Perhaps you are a bit like me, and Frankie was the first magazine that really made some kind of sense to you? In a sea of glossiness advising ladies to have plumper lips and thinner thighs, Frankie was all about putting a doily on it, making stuff for your friends and delving deeper into interesting stories. Thank goodness. Le PHEW.
I have been writing for Frankie for very many years. It’s been a real privilege and I am super proud to be able to give Frankie a big ‘YAY’ in this birthday issue. YAY!!
