Oh my gosh. I am having nice times, but I am really busy!
I’m running a day late with First Tuesday Book Club, because I haven’t read the book I decided on. It’s the Harp In The South Trilogy. I’m a third of the way through book one… I am having trouble PUSHING myself to read it! What should I do? Should I keep going? Should I skip to Book 3? Should I start something else? What should I do?! Help!
I’m writing my book. I’m writing a second draft and managing 2000 words a day. I am LOVING IT! It’s such a great challenge! My book is about: having a nice life, craft, friendship and food. It’s out late next year. Do you think it sounds good?
I’ve been writing lots of technology articles as part of my freelance writing caper. This one, about the horrible site Ask.fm is a good one if you have kids who are online. Have a read and get them off that crappy site! Please!
I’m making something I love. I realised something super weird. I don’t make things freely any more. I make things in the knowledge that people will ask me to write a pattern or how-to. This has really been cramping my style! I didn’t realise this until I started making something that would be a bit of a long-winded tutorial. Normally I would put that thing aside and make something more teachable. But this time I didn’t worry about that. And the thing I am making is turning out great! I will show it off someday, when I have time to explain how to do it in proper detail… Don’t you think it’s weird the way creativity works sometimes?!

I am behind on The August Break, but I am going to start doing it on Instagram instead of trying to do it with my proper camera. That will make things MUCH easier!
I’m looking forward to Kirsty’s exhibition! I wish I could whiz to Daylesford for Kate’s book launch (I will go to the Melbourne one!) I am liking the rainy afternoons, the morning walks, the late afternoon writing sessions.
