Oh thank you. I must say, I really wasn’t soliciting compliments with this post…. but I am quite chuffed with what turned up over there!
I just really want to thank you peeps for reading and taking the time to comment. I am very lucky to have you. I am. Especially people like Danya and Lyn from One Mum and Sandra and Sarah-Jane and Ange and Emjie and Katie Crackernuts and Jess and Lexi and In The Light of The Sun and Frankly Feisty and All Consuming and Jacqui and Kirsty and, well, really… a whole lot of you guys who are too many to name, for checking in and being so nice! I am sorry I did not write all your names. I am mildly rubbish at remembering everyone by name. But I do read every single comment I get. And it is so nice to get them, because then I know I am not talking to myself! (Not that I mind talking to myself. I do it quite often. There are many voices, I tell you. I could totally do my own pantomime.)
Do you know, one of the weird things about blogging is that you have readers who read your blog… and then they get inspired to move on and start their own blog… and off they go…. Before you know it they have their own tribe and they they are so busy making good stuff and writing good stuff that you don’t see much of them anymore. I guess it is kind of like when you are a Mum and your kids move on. A bit empty nesty. But also totally wonderful.
I hope all the people that started off here (and at other crafty blogs a bit like mine) and realised they could do it too are having ace times. Blogging is such a good way of keeping yourself happy and centred and focussed. I hope that it’s doing that for you nest-flee-ers.
I hope that if YOU are kind of contemplating starting your own blog… that you DO take the leap. Because you CAN do it too, and I promise you, it will lead to good things. I totally promise.
Sorry if this sounds like a speech at a funeral. No. I am not going anywhere. Just feeling a bit lucky and sentimental, I guess!
