:: Bonfires and Wintery Nights…

September 7, 2010

How cute is this video? I have resurrected my Google Reader and have started adding subscriptions again. This one came up via Black Eiffel who found it via A Pattern A Day.

Did you know that I have added a list of my shared items on this blog (above the blog posts and under the header) : in case you want to share what I am reading each day?!  It updates very often, so you can grab fresh ideas and fresh links from there, if you please!  (You can’t see this list if you are subscribing by email or an RSS Feed Reader : so just click over if you want to take a peek.)

I’ve been making some slow and steady changes to the blog : it’s still a bit of a work in progress design-wise, so bear with me!  I am still to add a background and some other cute bits and bobs….  And a list of blog favourites… and some other stuff too.  So thank you for putting up with the changey-ness of it all!

Are you well today?  I am well… I’ve been feeling a bit OVER the whole WINTERY vibe during the day, I must say.  But I like the Wintery nights.  We light candles and light the fire and cosy on the couch and watch telly. It is most lovely.  All that will be gone when the weather warms up.   Then it will be bare legs, wiggly toes, windows open, salad, cool wine and another kind of fun time!  The smell of fresh basil, jasmine, lemons and mosquito coils. Ahhh.

Yesterday I made some cushions for the lounge room.  I will show you later.  Ari stayed home and we went to the studio together and I whipped up three zippity cushions while he played on his computer.  I have quite  a few things on the go at the moment.  I have some fabric to cut a dress from, too.  And I have some cushions to make for a friend’s exhibition.  I have nearly finished the zig-zag pram blanket : just need to sew the ends in. And I have to get back to the shared ripple blanket I am making with a friend. AND I have to do some work on the Larksfoot Blanket too.  Phew.  That all sounds so great to me!

We have been Yellow Boxing too : I will show you a cake next…. and I accidentally ate all the Lamb with Haricot Beans without taking a photo. So I will make that again, I think. It was really yummy!

So are you well today? I hope you are!
