On My Desk today – yes, a day late as usual – are lots of letters and packages. What a tough job I have! I’ve been opening mail this morning – all packages destined for our Softies For Mirabel appeal.
You can make a soft toy to assist the awesome Mirabel Foundation in their support of great kids who are affected by a family member’s substance abuse. Some of the toys will be auctioned – and some will go directly to the Mirabel Foundation kids to provide some hearty hugs!

Deadline for Christmas Appeal – for Softies who would like to be Xmas gifts for Mirabel Kids is 13 December 2008
Softies will be auctioned on eBay from Sunday 27 July. There will be several rounds of auctions – so that everyone gets a turn at buying a softie!
Softies will be hanging out in Mike’s window from 1 June 2008 to August 30th – Just in case you are in Melbourne and would love to come and see them! We are at 63 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy in Melbourne.
