I went to the Chapel St Bazaar yesterday.. to buy our lovely friend Eliza an engagement gift (6 bone china folk art coffee cups and saucers)… and I found this lovely Figgjo Tea Pot for $55…. so i had to have it! I also bought Eliza some gorgeous little 50s tumblers with Galleon decals on them.. just adorable!
So I fear that thanks to tsktsk.. i have a new lovely collection in the works.. as I am already eyeing off another Figgjo Teapot.. in the Market design…! I figure if i take a lifetime to collect all the pieces.. then I need to make sure I have THREE sets.. one for each of my lovely children…!
xx and happy Sunday!

Woot! I never realised that I owned some Norwegian pottery. I have some of the Figgjo (Market series) in salt and pepper shakers. My father in law spotted them and gave them to me after going to a garage sale.
if you look at teh Kaotic Kraft Kuties website – well, you can see the Lotte Babushkas I made. I heart Lotte (shall be my first daughter’s name).
oooh miss marzie! at our house we just had.. ummm… i think it was brown Mikasa! Very not pretty! xx
love the teapot – my great aunt had the whole set when I used to stay with her when I was a little girl. It brings back many happy memories.
ummm.. i collect collections! and i only ever buy second hand… except i do buy some new books occasionally… so i figure that is all perfectly sustainable and also i am EXCELLENT at preserving things for future generations!
xx
oh Pip, how many things does it take to make a collection and how many collections can we have???
