In my usual zen-less-is-more-understated-style. I have FIVE jewellery boxes. And they could do with some dusting.
The sewing box one is musical – and it has flying ducks on it. The little girl’s one with the floral motif has a ballerina tucked inside (and music). The small black lacquer one is musical. And the big black lacquer one has a little carriage inside it – and surprise, surprise it’s muscial too! The ballet box was an eBay purchase years ago – being a very bad ballerina meant I never really had one of these – so i thought it best to treat myself! I was also a bad brownie – hence creating our own version of Brownies was necessary. Hmm… I seem to be tying up a lot of loose childhood ends lately!
