This wonderful version of Puss in Boots is illustrated by Angi Petrescu-Tiparescu – I don’t know much about him/her – but I love the colours, patterns and movement in these pictures! Perhaps he was a Russian prince, with a name like that.

Wow, these illustrations are something else. I love them! They almost look kind of screen printed. The trees really really appeal to me 🙂
