A Week of Vintage Children’s Book Illustration

Tomorrow I am going to begin a week of posting a beautiful pre 1980 Children’s Book Illustration! If you would like to join in – then feel free! You don’t have to post every day! But I am going to!

There is a wonderful Flickr Group for Vintage Children’s Illustration too… so go have a poke about over there for inspiration if you like! Retrokid is also a Flickr Fave! And don’t forget Allison’s favorite Flickr Group for Illustration! And my tiny one! I hope Lily and Agathe join in too!

OK, I have to do this. I just spent the weekend going through my mum’s trunk, pulling out all my old books from childhood (mum had saved them all). And they are DEFINITELY pre 1980s…*sigh*…would love to share some of the illustrations 🙂
