What to do on a Friday Afternoon

Fresh as a daisy on Monday morning? Planning your week and jotting down those must do things? Here’s a must do for our crafty Melbourne girls….

Mixtapezine is launching their 3rd issue THIS Friday! Their launch runs from 5 to 7pm – it’s in the Degraves Subway at Sticky. You should let Justine and Nichola know if you are coming – and you should definately bring a friend too!

Brooke and Rin and I are going to be there with bells on! You can find out more about what is going on at their launch here. And if you aren’t in Melbourne – you can still join in – scoot over here and buy Mixtapezine (you can always read it whilst drinking an icy cocktail and pretend you are at the launch.)

For those of you who don’t know where it is – Degraves is the laneway that runs off Flinders Street – between Swanston and Elizabeth – you just look for the stairs that run down of Flinders St – or there are more stairs halfway up Degraves St (they actually lead to the Station, as well as to lots of lovely little shops!)

I think it’s super important to support people who get off their bums and do good stuff for the craft community. And especially important to be sure that it doesn’t all exist on the internet – but that we actually get to know each other in real life too! So go and support and get to know and have a drink and some fun too!
