I have never met Megan Washington. Once I went to a book launch and she was RIGHT THERE, but she was talking to a rather rakish fella, so I did not go up to her, lest I rudely interrupt.
I like to call her Washo. It’s meant to be a good thing. It’s my nickname for her. Maybe other people call her that too, I do not know. Anyhow, I really like her a lot. I like her energy and her determination. I like the way she references some great ladies with a healthy dose of herself and pulls it all together into something unique. I like her shoulder shimmy, too, of course. And I like the way she sings. And her costumes. I do.
