Today we found.. vintage handkerchieves.. golden books.. new VINYL.. and two new books illustrated by Marcel Marlier… (OUR FAVOURITE.. well.. apart from Mary Blair, Gustaf Tenggren, Tibor Gergely.. etc etc!)
We got.. Debbie’s Visit To The Countryside… and Johnny and Sophie on Holiday! Hurrah.. check out these pretty pics! Debbie and Johnny and Sophie.. were the early (non-French) incarnations of these stories.. (remember in France we had Martine, and others!).. the later incarnations were Mark and Michelle (in about 1980!) So funny how they changed the names! Long Live Martine!
We also got lots of great records, some of which will find their way into Mikes.. including ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ by Pink Floyd, the entire Eurythmics collection,
‘Out of Our Heads’ by the Rolling Stones, ‘Sesame Street One’ circa 1974, four 1960s ‘Peter Paul and Mary’ albums and many more!
